- Selling on noon is free to start. There's no subscription, and you pay only when you sell or store stock.
- Most categories pay a 14–15% commission. Fashion pays 27%, and phones and laptops only 4.5–6%.
- If noon stores and ships your stock (FBN), a small parcel costs about SAR/AED 8–10 per order, plus SAR 2.75 or AED 1.75 per cubic foot per month.
- On a typical home or sports product, noon keeps about a fifth to a quarter of the price before VAT.
- The 10 September 2026 rate cards cut sports in Saudi Arabia to 14% flat and raised books to 15%.
Noon is one of the cheapest big marketplaces to start on. There's no sign-up fee and no monthly subscription.
You pay a commission when you sell. If noon stores and ships your stock, you also pay a per-order fee and a small storage charge.
For most products, that adds up to about a fifth of the price. Fashion costs more, and phones much less.
Here's every noon fee for Saudi Arabia and the UAE on the latest rate cards. You'll also get worked examples in SAR and AED, plus a calculator for your own products.
What fees does noon charge sellers?
Noon charges four kinds of fees. Only the first applies to every sale:
- Commission (referral fee). A percentage of each sale, set by category.
- Fulfilment fee. A per-order charge if noon packs and delivers for you. FBN (Fulfilled by noon) charges by size and weight. FBP (Fulfilled by Partner), where you keep the stock, charges per shipment.
- Storage. A monthly charge for the space your stock takes in noon's warehouse.
- Occasional fees. Return fees for faulty items, long-term storage, removals and penalties.
Advertising is optional, but most new sellers use it to get their first sales.
Every fee is quoted before VAT. Noon adds 15% VAT in Saudi Arabia and 5% in the UAE on top of its fees. If you're VAT-registered, you reclaim that VAT in your return, so it doesn't eat into your margin.

Noon commission rates by category (KSA and UAE)
Noon's commission ranges from 4.5% on phones to 27% on fashion. Most everyday categories pay 14–15% in both countries.
| Category | noon Saudi Arabia | noon UAE |
|---|---|---|
| Apparel & footwear | 27% | 27% |
| Bags (luggage) | 25% (20%) | 25% (20%) |
| Watches | 15% up to SAR 5,000, then 5% | 15% up to AED 5,000, then 5% |
| Fragrance | 15% | 14% |
| Hair, skin & personal care | 9% up to SAR 50, then 12.5% (generic 15%) | 8% up to AED 50, then 15% |
| Home (decor, kitchen, bedding) | 14% | 15% |
| Cleaning & hygiene | 8% up to SAR 50, then 10% | 7.5% up to AED 50, then 14% |
| Furniture | 15% up to 750, then 10% | 15% up to 750, then 10% |
| Mobiles & tablets | 5% up to SAR 750; 4.5% above | 6% up to AED 500, then 5% |
| Mobile accessories | 20% up to SAR 50, then 15% | 20% (15% for top brands) |
| Laptops & desktops | 6% | 6% |
| Headphones | 20% | 15% |
| TVs | 8% | 5% |
| Toys | 14% | 14% |
| Baby products | 8% up to 50, then 15% | 8% up to 50, then 15% |
| Sports & outdoors | 14% | 20% up to AED 30, then 13% |
| Food & beverages | 9% | 9% |
| Books | 15% | 15% |
| All other categories | 14% | 14% |
How to read the tiers
Tiered rates work in slices. On baby products, the first 50 of the price pays 8%. Only the part above that pays the higher rate.
Saudi mobiles are the exception. There, the rate for the price band applies to the whole price, so a SAR 1,000 phone pays 4.5% on every riyal.
Two more rules apply everywhere:
- Minimum fee. Every item pays at least SAR 1 or AED 1.
- The base is the VAT-inclusive price. Commission is calculated on what the shopper pays.
What changed on 10 September 2026
Noon refreshed both rate cards in September. Here's what moved:
| Store and category | Before | From 10 Sep 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| KSA: sports & outdoors | 20% up to SAR 30, then 13% | 14% flat |
| KSA: books | 13% | 15% |
| KSA: cleaning & hygiene | 9% | 8% up to SAR 50, then 10% |
| UAE: cleaning & hygiene | 9% | 7.5% up to AED 50, then 14% |
| UAE: health & nutrition | New line | 8% up to AED 50, then 15% |
Sports sellers in Saudi Arabia gain the most. Book sellers should reprice.
Noon also sets brand- and product-level exceptions. Seller Lab shows the exact rate for each listing, so check it before you buy stock.
Noon FBN fees by size and weight
FBN is noon's warehouse service. You send stock in, and noon picks, packs, delivers and handles returns. Your listings also get the noon Express badge, which noon says lifts conversion by about 60%.
The FBN fee is charged per unit, when the order is delivered. It depends on your product's size tier, its weight and whether it sells for more than 25:
| Size tier | noon KSA (SAR), price ≤25 / >25 | noon UAE (AED), price ≤25 / >25 |
|---|---|---|
| Small envelope | 5.5 / 7.5 | 5.0 / 7.0 |
| Standard parcel up to 0.25 kg | 7.2 / 9.2 | 7.0 / 8.5 |
| Standard parcel 0.25–0.5 kg | 7.5 / 9.5 | 8.0 / 10.0 |
| Standard parcel 0.5–1 kg | 8.0 / 10.0 | 8.0 / 10.0 |
| Standard parcel 1–3 kg | 10.0 / 13.0 | 10.0 / 12.0 |
| Each extra kg, up to 12 kg | +1 | +1 |
| Oversize up to 1 kg | 10.0 / 14.0 | 10.0 / 12.0 |
| Bulky up to 20 kg | 33.0 / 37.0 | 33.0 / 35.0 |
| Oversize 25–30 kg | 39.0 / 43.0 | 37.5 / 39.5 |
Notice the flat fee hurts cheap items most. A SAR 10 fee is a tenth of a SAR 100 product's price.

Noon storage fees
FBN storage is charged monthly by volume. It costs SAR 2.75 per cubic foot in Saudi Arabia. In the UAE, it's AED 1.75, after both went up on 1 October.
To find a product's volume in cubic feet, multiply its length, width and height in centimetres and divide by 28,317.
For example, a shoebox-sized carton is about 0.21 cubic feet. It costs about SAR 0.58 a month to store in Saudi Arabia. A batch of 200 units costs about SAR 116.
Storage gets expensive in three cases:
| Fee | noon KSA | noon UAE |
|---|---|---|
| Long-term storage (stock older than 365 days) | SAR 25 per cubic foot | AED 25 per cubic foot |
| Non-saleable stock (after 30 days) | SAR 12 per cubic foot | AED 12 per cubic foot |
| Removal (getting stock back) | Min SAR 15 per request + 0.3 per unit + 1 per kg (2 per kg cross-city) | Min AED 15 per request + 0.3 per unit + 1 per kg |
File removal requests by the 25th of the month to avoid aged-stock fees on stock you plan to pull out.
Noon FBP (DirectShip) fees
With FBP, you keep stock in your own warehouse. Noon collects each order from you, or you drop it off, and charges per shipment by weight.
| Parcel (UAE rate card) | noon picks up | You drop off |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 0.25 kg | AED 14 | AED 12 |
| 2–3 kg | AED 17.5 | AED 15.5 |
| Oversize up to 1 kg | AED 18.5 | AED 16.5 |
Noon then pays you back the shipping the customer paid. The smaller the order, the bigger the credit:
| Order value | Credit in the UAE | Credit in Saudi Arabia |
|---|---|---|
| Under 100 | AED 10 | SAR 12 |
| 100–500 | AED 5 | SAR 6 |
| Above 500 | None | None |
There's no storage fee, which makes FBP a good fit for bulky or slow-selling products. Bulky items you deliver yourself (Direct Delivery) pay only the commission.
Noon return fees and penalties
Most returns cost you nothing extra. With FBN, noon handles the collection and restocks saleable items.
You pay a return fee only when the return is your fault, such as an item that's damaged, fake, not as described or missing parts. The fee is the lesser of SAR/AED 15 or 20% of the commission on that item.
On most mid-priced items, that's just a few riyals or dirhams. Only items with a commission above SAR 75 hit the SAR 15 cap.
Our guide to noon returns and seller policies covers return windows and the Seller Protection Fund.
How much does advertising on noon cost?
Noon ads is self-serve, and you pay per click (CPC) on Product Ads and Brand Ads. Display Ads are priced per thousand views.
Clicks are cheap compared with Amazon. Here's what noon and sellers report:
| Metric | Typical range | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Bids by category | SAR/AED 0.5–10 | noon ads scaling guide |
| CPC, long-tail and home keywords (KSA) | About SAR 0.3–0.5 | Top-seller data, Menglar, 2025 |
| Minimum daily budget | AED 10 per campaign | Dubai South Business Hub, 2026 |
| Practical starting budget | AED 50 a day, or AED 2,000–5,000 a month | Creative Augmentation (Dubai agency), 2026 |
| Break-even return on ad spend | About 3x | Saddl and Menglar, 2025–26 |
New advertisers also get 500 in ad credits to start. Our noon ads guide shows how to set up your first campaign.
Worked examples: what you keep in SAR and AED
Let's price one product on each rate card. Both use FBN.
Noon Saudi Arabia: a SAR 119 fitness set
A boxed set of resistance bands and a skipping rope sells for SAR 119 including VAT. It weighs 1.2 kg and the box measures 30 × 20 × 10 cm.
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| Shelf price (incl. 15% VAT) | SAR 119.00 |
| Commission (sports, 14%) | − SAR 16.66 |
| FBN fee (1–3 kg parcel, price above 25) | − SAR 13.00 |
| Storage (0.21 cubic feet, one month) | − SAR 0.58 |
| Noon fees in total | SAR 30.24 (25.4%) |
| VAT you pass to ZATCA | − SAR 15.52 |
| What you keep before product cost and ads | SAR 73.24 |
Say the set costs you SAR 35 landed in Saudi Arabia, with SAR 10 of ads per sale. You'd make about SAR 28 per set, or 24% of the price.
Noon UAE: an AED 149 toy set
A building-block set sells for AED 149 including VAT. It weighs 0.9 kg and the box measures 40 × 30 × 10 cm.
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| Shelf price (incl. 5% VAT) | AED 149.00 |
| Commission (toys, 14%) | − AED 20.86 |
| FBN fee (0.5–1 kg parcel, price above 25) | − AED 10.00 |
| Storage (0.42 cubic feet, one month) | − AED 0.74 |
| Noon fees in total | AED 31.60 (21.2%) |
| VAT you pass to the FTA | − AED 7.10 |
| What you keep before product cost and ads | AED 110.30 |
Now add a landed cost of AED 45 and AED 12 of ads per sale. You'd make about AED 53 per set, helped by the UAE's lower VAT.

How to keep your noon fees low
Small choices cut your fee bill without touching your price:
- Bundle cheap items. Two SAR 30 items in one pack pay one FBN fee instead of two.
- Shrink the box. Lighter, smaller packaging can drop a product into a cheaper weight tier and cuts storage.
- Send stock in small batches. Restock every few weeks rather than shipping a year's supply, so you never hit long-term storage.
- Use FBP for bulky and slow sellers. Keep FBN for fast, small products that win with the Express badge.
- Price around the tiers. Know where your category's rate changes, and set prices with that in mind.
- Write accurate listings. Clear photos and sizes keep seller-caused returns, and their fees, low.

Notes for fashion brands
Fashion is noon's most expensive category. Apparel and footwear pay 27% in both Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and bags pay 25%.
- The total bite is about a third. An AED 199 abaya in the UAE pays about 32% of its price in commission and FBN fees.
- Returns are higher in fashion. Sizing errors count as your fault if the listing is wrong, so publish a clear size chart.
- Compare before you list. Amazon charges much less on fashion, as our noon vs Amazon comparison shows with a T-shirt example.
Notes for electronics and phone sellers
Phones are noon's cheapest category, at 4.5–6%. Laptops pay 6% in both countries.
- Watch the SAR 750 line in Saudi Arabia. Above it, the rate drops to 4.5% on the whole price. So a SAR 760 phone pays less commission than a SAR 750 one.
- Accessories pay much more. Cheap mobile accessories and headphones both pay 20% in Saudi Arabia.
- TVs differ by country. They pay 8% in Saudi Arabia and 5% in the UAE.
Notes for Chinese sellers
Under noon Global Shipping (NGS), you don't pay the fees on this page directly. You set a USD transfer price, which is what you receive per unit.
- Noon adds its costs on top. It adds logistics, duties, VAT and its own margin to set the shopper's price.
- You're paid the full transfer price after delivery, by bank transfer, Payoneer, LianLian, WorldFirst or PingPong.
- Shelf price is the risk. If noon's added costs push your price above competitors, sales slow, so test a few SKUs first.
See our guide to noon Global Shipping from China for the full setup.
Notes for UAE companies selling into Saudi Arabia
Noon's Global Store lets a UAE VAT-registered company sell on noon Saudi Arabia without a Saudi CR or Saudi VAT.
- You pay the UAE rate card. There's no extra cross-border commission.
- Prices convert automatically. Noon removes UAE VAT, converts to SAR and adds Saudi VAT. An AED 100 item lands at about SAR 112.
- Each product needs a 12-digit Saudi HS code and a country of origin.
Payouts arrive in USD in your UAE account. For timing and thresholds, see how noon pays sellers, or head back to the noon seller hub for every guide.
Frequently asked questions
